Friday Morning Update

Just got the update from Rebecca. Please pray for her strength, too.

Trevor needed to be sedated overnight; he was uncomfortable with the intubation and fought it. His heart was racing when he was off of the sedation.

This morning, they're again looking at the concept of "This is a tick bite from Kenya, and it's complicated by a strep infection." The infection is pretty serious; they're looking at surgery today to get some of it.

I'm praying for clear insight for the doctors, particularly the good man (whose name I've forgotten) who is the head of infectious diseases: that they'd identify what needs to be done to get this under control, and quickly. I'm also continuing to pray for encouragement (for all involved), for strength (physical and otherwise) and for all of the administrative details to come together cleanly.
