Thursday's Last Update

Just got the word from Rebecca at the hospital with Trevor, and it will likely be the last word of the day. Trevor is sleeping fitfully. The doctors have intubated him, and he's fighting the tube, trying to take it out while he's 2/3 asleep.

The doctors are saying that they're thinking less and less about tic-borne diseases and more about strep infections in his body. But they're apparently going to let Trevor sleep before they do more.

Rebecca will spend the night in the hospital; they got her a cot next to Trevor's bed. She'll update us in the morning. We'll pray for a place for her tomorrow night as well.

The Summit continues unabated, though they stop the entire gathering to pray for Trevor from time to time. Encouraging! I got to sit in on part of tonight's session, on the subject of apostolic movements in the work of God today. Dang, that gets me excited!Shaun Bolz has some good insight; email me for details & I'll send you a page of my notes.

Todd reports that during the drum circle in the park, they had a cool time with the drums and the Holy Spirit, to the point that a young man from New York (yes, he looks like a hippie) came and sat among them and declared, "I think I came here to give my life to Jesus." And then he did. He was in the gathering tonight. Others reported healed broken arms, divine appointments, prophetic encouragements and mostly hours and hours of relationship with hurting and needy people (is there really another kind?).

It has been a long day. Thanks for your prayers! Let's do this again in the morning.
